Just a few more pictures from the Gallery on the Green taken by our friend, Leo Kulinski, Jr., a wonderful photographer (www.whalesandwolves.com).

Our booth at Gallery on the GreenWhat an amazing turnout for our booth at the Gallery on the Green art fair in Litchfield yesterday despite the rain! At one point we had water dripping in from all sides of the tent. Felted wool items are not damaged by water. Once dry they are fine again. We had needle felted, wet felted, and knit-then-felted art and wearable accessories on display, as well as quilted wallhangings.

In addition, my booth partner, Robin McCahill, demonstrated a new mechanical puppet that she had just finished the day before at the Eugene O’Neill puppet workshop in Waterford.

Robin McCahill and her new puppet

Two felted wool hats and a hand puppet embellished with needle felting.

I am thrilled to be partnering with Robin McCahill (www. intuit2arts.com) at the Gallery on the Green Art Show in Litchfield, Connecticut on Saturday, June 12, 2010. We will have nuno felted silk scarves, felted wool bags and hats for sale as well as jester stick kits. There will be some quilts and decorative items too.
